So, today I thought I'd spend a couple of hours swapping my computer set-up around a little bit, installing software (I'm officially an Office 2013 convert now), getting files organized and backed up, etc.

I say thought that I'd spend a couple of hours, but then I spent seven hours on it... mainly because of lack of planning and foresight involving things like making sure a tower had all the drivers it needed to get online through the wi-fi before unplugging it from the router and carrying it up two flights of stairs.

A big part of the point of this was to get all the physical swappery done before the really hot weather comes. Now I'll be ready to work downstairs when I need to.
