Office day wrap-up.
Jan. 25th, 2012 06:57 pmSo, at the end of the day I got everything I laid out done. An hour of tagging old chapters didn't take me nearly as far as I had thought it would, but that's partly because I was figuring out how to do it efficiently. I learned that I do have room for more tasks on an office day and I have need for them to keep me focused. Trying to spend more time in a big block tagging is not going to be a going proposition, but I can do a block in the morning and the afternoon.
I also spent the last hour of the day writing and have ~1000 words to show for it, which is pretty good. I think I'll make it a standby. It's good to do a little writing every day. Helps keep the pump primed.
In terms of things to show for today: I have an author page on Amazon, which was a long overdue step that was easily rectified, and I have a new short story for sale. Even if you don't have a buck to spend on it, if you're among those who got to preview the story and you have nice things to say about it, please consider leaving a review on the page. I won't ask you to say anything you don't mean, but if you as a fan have a good review in you, taking the time to write it would help me out.
